Jennifer Aniston’s flight to Cabo makes emergency landing

Jennifer Aniston‘s vacation has been delayed.

The 50-year-old actress, who was accompanied by former “Friends” co-star Courteney Cox, was on a private jet en route to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Friday when the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing after the aircraft lost a wheel or tire during takeoff, according to TMZ.

Flying from LAX, Aniston’s flight made it into Mexican airspace, but the crew decided to land in Ontario, Calif., for safety reasons, the site reports.

After circling for hours to burn off fuel for a safe landing, they touched down at 2 p.m. Aniston, Cox and the 10 other passengers aboard appear to be unharmed and will de-plane onto another jet shortly.

Jason Bateman’s wife, Amanda Anka, was also said to be a passenger.

The trip was reportedly a surprise for Aniston’s 50th birthday, which she also celebrated with a star-studded bash last weekend.
