Peggy Siegal’s annual Valentine’s Day card is out of this world

Heading into the Oscars, awards-p.r. guru Peggy Siegal sent out her annual movie-inspired Valentine’s Day card to lucky filmmakers, studio execs, movie stars and plugged-in pals.

This year, the card — which is annually inspired by a high-profile film, and created by former Lionsgate branding and marketing whiz Tim Palen — cast Siegal in a “First Man” homage, called “First Dame.”

In place of Ryan Gosling, the perfectly coiffed publicity pro appears smiling from inside an astronaut suit under the tag line, “Who doesn’t wanna be weightless?” Inside the card, a striking Siegal poses in a sleek space suit on the lunar surface with the words, “Happy Valentine’s Day. I love you to the moon and back.”.

(The clever card also included a reference to the iconic “Alien” campaign, with a tag line on the back, reading: “In space, no one can hear you shriek.”)

The card’s been a tradition for over a decade now and pals are saying it’s her best card yet.

Last year, Palen’s Valentine’s creation for Siegal was a riff on “Atomic Blonde,” called “Atomic Peggy.”

The real “First Man” is nominated for four Oscars at next week’s awards, including Best Visual Effects.
