Darren Criss marries longtime girlfriend Mia Swier

Darren Criss and Mia Swier are officially husband and wife.

On Saturday, the “Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” star, 32, and his longtime girlfriend tied the knot in New Orleans, where they were joined by family and friends, including Criss’ former “Glee” co-stars Lea Michele, Harry Shum Jr., and Chord Overstreet, according to People.

Criss announced his engagement to Swier, 33, last January after nearly eight years of dating.

“Mia and I have had seven and a half years of fun, wacky, wonderful, CRAZY adventures together. And I’m happy to announce that we’re kicking those adventures up a notch,” he wrote on Instagram. “We’re goin for it. To boldly go where neither of us have gone before. Engage.”

Swier is a writer and producer at Fox Networks.

The new year is off to a sweet start for Criss, who recently won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Andrew Cunanan on “American Crime Story.”
