Maxine Waters apologizes to struggling millennials

Rep. Maxine Waters feels sorry for broke millennials.

In fact, the California representative seemed to go so far as to apologize to the younger generation for their economic situation during a speech Friday.

“Millennials say, ‘We have done everything you told us to do, only to find out we can’t get a job. And when we get a job it’s not worth going to work every day because of the pay that is offered to us,’” she told the audience at the Rainbow Coalition Wall Street Project Economic Summit at the Sheraton Hotel in Midtown.

Democrat Waters — who has famously clashed with President Trump — added, “[Millennials say,] ‘We are disappointed in what we thought would be available to us when we came of age, when we graduate and we are ready to start our careers.’”

She added, “Millennials, I am sorry about that one.”

She said that they have to work several jobs to have enough money to live.

After the congresswoman’s speech, Rev. Jessie Jackson lead a prayer.
