The professional organizer walked the 2019 Oscars red carpet on Sunday night, wearing an ethereal pink Jenny Packham gown with silver floral accents. The “Tidying Up With Marie Kondo” star walked alongside her husband, Takumi Kawahara.
Kondo, 34, is attending Hollywood’s biggest night as a guest of “Access Hollywood,” where she’ll work the red carpet with the show’s hosts and mingle with the nominees.
Twitter users wasted no time making jokes about the Oscars and Kondo’s attendance.
“Marie Kondo turning up to clean the mess that will be the 91st Oscar Ceremony. #Oscar2019,” joked one user.
