“Goodfellas” star Ray Liotta is in talks to join the cast of David Chase’s “The Sopranos” prequel movie, “The Many Saints Of Newark.”
According to Deadline, the mob drama will go into production this spring, also starring Michael Gandolfini — the son of the late James Gandolfini — as a young Tony Soprano.
The film’s set during the Newark riots of the ’60s.
Off-screen, Liotta actually grew up in the Jersey town in the same era.
