Did Meek Mill bash Nicki Minaj’s rumored fiancé’s style?

Fans think Meek Mill may have finally come up with his response to “Barbie Dreams.”

On Monday, NBA star James Harden posted a snippet of a new song the Philadelphia rapper had sent him on Instagram, and fans think it’s about Nicki Minaj and her rumored fiancé, Kenneth Petty.

In the intro to the unreleased track, Meek, 31, criticizes an unnamed ex and mocks her new man, trashing his taste in jeans.

“This s—t beyond me,” he raps (via Genius). “You was supposed to be my Beyoncé / Now you this n—a fiancée? What? / F—k you mean you feel a connection? / He listen to you, what? / This n—a wear Balenciaga with bootcut jeans / What the f—k you losing your mind? Ayo, call my f—king / phone back yo.”

In the wake of the speculation, Meek claimed the song was not about Minaj or Petty (and his alleged affinity for outdated denim), and urged fans to wait for the full song before jumping to any conclusions.

After first tweeting that he had dated six girls since the former couple called it quits, he added, “Y’all gotta hear the whole thing first ….. just chill.”

Minaj and Meek dated from 2015 to the beginning of 2017. Since then, the two feud-prone rappers have frequently gone after one another.

In August, Meek was just one of the many men Minaj roasted on her track “Barbie Dreams,” rapping, “Meek still be in my DMs, I be havin’ to duck him.”

Talking to Vulture in November, Meek addressed his characterization in the song, saying, “I ain’t get no heads-up [about the song], but I definitely wasn’t in nobody’s DMs. And definitely wasn’t nobody ducking me, s—t. That’s a fact.”
