Tanner Tolbert’s wish has been granted.
The “Bachelor in Paradise” alum shared on Instagram Monday that he wore blue underwear to his and wife Jade Tolbert’s gender reveal party, and, “IT WORKED… #itsaboy.”
The Tolberts are already the parents of a 1-year-old daughter, Emerson Avery. Prior to Jade’s pregnancy this time around, Tanner told People how much he wanted a boy.
“I want to at least have one [son],” Tanner said last April. “We joke and I tell her that she’s going to have to keep on trying until we get that boy.”
In January, the couple confirmed on Instagram that they were expecting baby No. 2. Jade is due in August.
In February, Jade shared that she suffered a miscarriage a few years ago when the couple first got together.
“At the time, I didn’t really grieve because I just didn’t know how to process it,” she said in a YouTube video. “It was so much so fast and in a really bad way it was almost like a relief because we were in such a whirlwind.”
The pair had just met on Season 2 of the ABC reality series in 2015. They tied the knot in a wedding special the following year.
