Rudy Giuliani was in no mood to discuss his legal battle against his estranged wife when he arrived in court Wednesday morning — but he took the opportunity to defend President Trump.
“I’m not going to comment on that,” the former New York City mayor said when asked by The Post about his divorce from Judith Nathan.
“These are personal things,” he said.
But he opened up when questioned about special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election and possible collusion with Trump’s campaign.
“We’re waiting for the report like everyone else,” he said. “I’m very hopeful that the people will find out, which is what I know, is that the president did nothing wrong.
“There never was any collusion. There is no obstruction of justice. He did nothing wrong,” he added before walking into state Supreme Court on Centre Street.
Moments later, Nathan — wearing a powder blue suit jacket, black slacks and stilettos — strode in, walked up to Giuliani and tapped him on his shoulder to shake his hand.
In response, he limply offered his hand as he glared at her.
In November, Giuliani insisted that he has financial difficulties because of his pro bono work for the president.
His lawyer admitted at the time that Giuliani made $9 million in 2017 and a little under $5 million last year — but that there wasn’t enough left over after his own fiscal obligations to fund his wife’s current lifestyle.
She wants her former hubby of 15 years to pay for expenses for several of their shared residences, including in Palm Beach and Southampton, as well as her personal assistant and the cost of housing her elderly mother in an assisted living facility.
She also is seeking $63,000 a month in spousal support.
Her lawyer Bernard Clair claimed in November that Giuliani had $900,000 in personal expenses in six months — including more than $12,012 for cigars and $7,131 for pens.
