It’s reportedly over — again — for Emma Roberts and Evan Peters.
The actors first started dating in 2012 after meeting on the set of “Adult World” and continued to work together on various seasons of Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story.” Though they’ve been together for years, their on-again, off-again relationship has been turbulent, to say the least.
Peters, 32, and Roberts, 28, found themselves in their first public scandal and rough patch in 2013 when Roberts was arrested for allegedly getting into a fight with Peters that left him with a bloody nose. Peters didn’t want to press charges, so Roberts was released from jail a few hours later.
“It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding,” Roberts and Peters’ reps told Us Weekly at the time. “Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it.”
The “Scream Queens” star and Peters got engaged later that year but called it off in June 2015. The split didn’t last long, however, as they were spotted holding hands three months after that. In early January 2016, Page Six confirmed that they had spent New Year’s together in Malibu, Calif. A source told us at the time that they were “not engaged, but got back together two months ago.”
One month later, Page Six spies caught the then-couple on a dinner date at the Stanton Social in New York City.
Roberts has kept Peters’ presence on her Instagram account to a minimum, sharing posts with him only on special occasions, such as awards show nominations and birthdays. Peters’ last appearance on her Instagram was on Jan. 20, 2019, when she posted a photo of him in honor of his birthday.
“#happybirthday my love ♥️,” she captioned the photo.
He hasn’t been seen since — and neither has her engagement ring.
Reps for Peters and Evans didn’t return Page Six’s request for comment.
