Drew Barrymore’s daughters love ‘Ever After’ and ‘50 First Dates’

Even Drew Barrymore‘s daughters have their go-to Drew Barrymore movies.

During an appearance on “Good Morning America” on Monday, the 44-year-old actress revealed that her movies have special meaning to Olive, 6, and Frankie, 4.

“They love ‘Ever After,’ and ’50 First Dates,'” she explained, adding that, “they say they call it a ‘Mom Movie’ and they enjoy watching it.”

However, Barrymore’s childhood role in 1982’s “E.T.” hasn’t quite caught on in her household.

“Olive hasn’t really gravitated towards it as much as I would have thought so far, but I think she’ll get back into it,” adding that Olive is a fan of “The Goonies.”

But as a disclaimer to visitors, the Flower Beauty founder promised that if a “Mom Movie” is playing when guests are over, it wasn’t her choice.

“I swear to God I’m not like that ego jerk that’s like, ‘Here kids!'” she joked.

Kidding aside, she loves that she has fans in her daughters, who she shares with ex-husband Will Kopelman.

“I’m proud of who I am and what I’ve done,” she said. “I’ve made [the movies] exactly the for what young girls and boys feel, we’re all just trying to find love, be kind and kick some ass here and there.”

And as for her kids joining the family business, Olive may be on the track to Hollywood, but only if becoming a cop doesn’t work out.

“I talk about John, Lionel, Ethel [Barrymore], and she was like, ‘Everybody in our family is an actor,’ and I said, ‘We must feel that gravitational pull,’ but I just said, ‘You get to do whatever you want to do,’ and she goes, ‘I want to be an actress, but I also need to be a policewoman.”
