LAPD chief calls out Nipsey Hussle’s suspected killer: ‘I ask him to surrender’

The Los Angeles Police Department’s top cop on Tuesday called on the suspect in the killing of rap star Nipsey Hussle to turn himself in — and warned city residents not to give him shelter.

“To Mr. Holder, who I am confident is watching this … I ask him to surrender,” said LAPD Chief Michel Moore during a press briefing, taking a moment to personally address alleged murderer Eric Holder.

Moore also thanked the public for a flood of tips that have flowed in since the slaying — and appealed to Angelenos not to harbor the accused killer.

“There should be no safe haven for this individual,” said Moore. “This is a man who is of substantial risk to public safety and willing to use violence and we want to see that stop.”

Holder, 29, allegedly gunned down the 33-year-old Grammy nominee outside his LA clothing store Sunday afternoon, then hopped into a waiting Chevy Cruze driven by an unidentified female accomplice, cops said.

The Chevy was found abandoned in an alley by a nearby mini-mall, Moore said Tuesday.

The slaying came just one day before Hussle, a reformed one-time gang member, was set to meet with LAPD brass to strategize on how to steer kids away from the streets, but Moore stressed that the slaying appeared motivated by a personal beef.

“We believe this to be a dispute between Mr. Hussle and Mr. Holder,” said Moore.

He declined to reveal the nature of their feud, but Holder reportedly had confronted Hussle minutes before the shooting, demanding to know whether he’d dropped a dime on him to cops.
