Meghan Markle and Prince Harry launch ‘SussexRoyal’ joint Instagram account

Meghan Markle is back on social media.

On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s official Instagram account launched under the handle @sussexroyal.

“Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues. We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal,” Meghan, 37, and Prince Harry, 34, jointly signed their first post, which included a series of snapshots from their royal travels.

Among the first to comment, Meghan’s stylist BFF, Jessica Mulroney, who posted two red emoji hearts.

Before marrying Harry last May, Meghan deleted all of her social media accounts as she readied for life as a royal.

“Ms. Markle is grateful to everyone who has followed her social media accounts over the years,” a source previously told People. “However as she has not used them for some time she has taken the decision to close them.”

The move to Instagram comes on the heels of the royal family’s crackdown against cyberbullies, who have targeted Meghan in the past.
