Pete Davidson accessorized his casual clothes with a bold manicure.

The “Saturday Night Live” star sat courtside at the Knicks game Monday night with fellow comedian and pal John Mulaney and Jon Stewart, but an eyewitness told Page Six it was his manicure that caught people’s attention rather than his A-list company.

“His nails were painted red!” our insider shared with us. “He seemed really happy. He was just enjoying the game with his friends. He wasn’t drinking alcohol or anything, but he did suck on a lollipop for a while and ate a hot dog.”

Upon closer examination of photos of Davidson at the Knicks vs. Chicago Bulls game, it appears not all of Davidson’s nails were lacquered — just a few. Perhaps girlfriend Kate Beckinsale had some fun with Davidson’s hands, though she was absent from the guys’ night out.

Davidson, 25, kept his look otherwise low-key, wearing jeans, an orange T-shirt and a black bomber jacket. Since getting together with Beckinsale, it appears Davidson has toned down his fashion compared to when he was dating Ariana Grande.

Take a look at how the star’s sense of style has evolved with his ever-changing love life:

Pete Davidson’s star has risen in a big way over the past few years, and his style has certainly evolved too. From sloppy sneakerhead to attention-grabbing hypebeast, the 25-year-old comic loves to stand out in bright streetwear. Davidson's style hit an all-time high during the summer of 2018, when he dated (and was engaged to) Ariana Grande. But now that the two have gone their own separate ways -- and Davidson’s moved on to Kate Beckinsale, 45 -- the "Saturday Night Live" regular seems to have toned down his look. However, that doesn't mean the designer duds are gone. In fact, Davidson has upgraded his basic hats and regular-edition sneakers to special and exceedingly excessive designer versions only available to celebrities. Here, we track his style evolution.

Davidson made his "SNL" debut in September 2014, and immediately stood out thanks to his age (at 20, he was one of the show’s youngest additions ever) and dark humor. Early the next year, he appeared as part of the “Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber.” He's always been a self-proclaimed sneakerhead, so it should come as no surprise that he paired cobalt blue quilted sneakers with a drab printed charcoal suit.

While dating Larry David's daughter Cazzie, Davidson started to experiment with more expensive and trendy pieces. In 2016, Davidson copped a pair of Nike Air Mag "Back to the Future" self-lacing sneakers — which are now sold for north of $12,000 — to eviscerate Rob Lowe on another “Comedy Central Roast.”

Though it seems he's always had an interest in fashion, Davidson didn't hit his sartorial stride until he started dating Ariana Grande in the summer of 2018. Here, the two leave a store with multiple bags of new purchases while wearing Retro Jordan 1s in the UNC colorway, orange checkered track pants, a BAPE sleeveless shirt and a purple Kangol bucket hat.

It seemed like everyone dressed up as Grande and Davidson for Halloween in 2018. For those couples who did, this understated look was the pinnacle. However, the low-key getup cost more than expected; Davidson's Off-White sweatpants retail for $620, while his Balenciaga sneakers go for $750.
