Wendy Williams loves a bargain.
The morning show host was spotted at a Walmart near Ellenville, New York, this week, and an eyewitness told Page Six on Friday that she was wearing her wedding ring during the outing.
“She was with a few people, but her husband [Kevin Hunter] wasn’t with her,” the spy said. “She seemed regular, to be honest. Not happy or sad.”
Williams has had an on-again, off-again relationship with her wedding ring, wearing it some days and leaving it off on others. As Page Six previously reported, Williams and Hunter are looking into separating after his alleged mistress had a baby.
Williams’ escape from the city took place during her show’s week-long hiatus while she continues her stay in a sober living facility in Queens, where she’s seeking treatment for her substance abuse issues.
On Friday morning, Williams and her Hunter Foundation released a pre-taped public service announcement that discussed how she’s “living proof” that it’s possible to overcome addiction.
