Wendy Williams flaunts a ring that isn’t her wedding band

Wendy Williams appears to be playing games.

The morning show host removed her huge wedding ring for Thursday’s show, replacing it with a diamond flower ring she’s worn frequently before — though typically on her other hand. And while it could’ve simply been a swap in jewelry, a video on her stylists’ Instagram seems to indicate otherwise.

In the video — hairstylist Robyn Michele and makeup artist Merrell Hollis shared the same one — Williams is seen getting glammed for her show’s taping as she then lifts her hands to flaunt her floral bling. She appears to be sending a message that her wedding band has been removed.

Both artists captioned the video the same way, too, writing, “W E N D Y.”

How long this symbolic gesture lasts remains to be seen, as Williams has been alternating between wearing the ring and removing it over the past couple of weeks since husband Kevin Hunter’s alleged mistress, Sharina Hudson, gave birth.
