Taylor Swift shook off the dress code at pal Gigi Hadid‘s 24th birthday party on Monday night.
While celebrity guests like Hailee Steinfeld, Olivia Culpo, Ashley Graham and Hadid’s sister Bella all showed up to the denim-themed bash at L’Avenue at Saks clad in their best blues — as did the birthday girl herself — the pop star went fashionably rogue, opting for a look that reflected the all-pastel-everything aesthetic she’s adopted on social media lately.
Swift, 29, wore a floral Zimmermann dress ($425) and pink houndstooth coat by Mango ($169.99), along with sold-out pink velvet Rupert Sanderson sandals and a pale blue Anya Hindmarch bag adorned with a fluffy cat. She finished the look with a large pair of sparkling flower-shaped earrings and her signature red lipstick.
The Grammy winner is rumored to be releasing new music on Friday, and has been teasing fans with Instagram shots of tulle ruffles, pastel pantsuits and sparkling sequins in the days leading up to the big reveal. So while her look for Hadid’s big night might not have matched her model BFF’s theme, it certainly coordinated with her own.
