Wedding bells could be ringing for Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix.
The actress, 34, got rumors swirling that she and Phoenix, 44, are engaged after she was photographed wearing a large diamond ring on that finger.
The pictures were taken in Los Angeles on Friday. Over the weekend, the couple was photographed taking a karate class together, though Mara didn’t appear to have the ring on during their fitness outing.
Reps for the couple didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
The “Joker” star and Mara have been romantically linked since early 2017 when they were filming “Mary Magdalene” together, starring as Jesus and Mary. They also previously worked on 2013’s “Her.”
Prior to dating Phoenix, Mara was in a six-year relationship with Charlie McDowell, the director son of British actor Malcolm McDowell.
Meanwhile, Rooney’s older sister Kate Mara recently welcomed her first child with husband Jamie Bell.
