Samira Wiley flaunts her armpit hair for Nylon’s Pride issue

Samira Wiley is celebrating Pride in style.

The “Handmaid’s Tale” actress, 32, posed for Nylon’s new Pride issue wearing a dramatic red maxi skirt and matching bra top complete with braided “nipples” by Shanel, along with visible armpit hair.

Photographed by Kate Owen, Wiley also models a dramatic black Max Mara cape, deconstructed Monse blazer dress and a giant gold sculpted Sterling King collar in the shots.

And in the accompanying cover story, she discusses how playing lesbian characters (Poussey on “Orange Is the New Black,” and Moira on “Handmaid’s”) factors into her mission to further queer representation in television.

“At the end of the day, I want to tell stories that I believe in and that I believe are creative. It’s great. I’m very flattered by it,” Wiley explained. “A lot of it, probably the majority of it, is like, ‘Samira is gay, she can play this.’ I don’t know. I’m just about women and queer women opening the door. Keep opening the door.”

Wiley is married to writer Lauren Morelli, whom she met on the set of “OITNB.”
