NeNe Leakes is gearing up for a return to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
An insider told Page Six on Wednesday that her contract is still being hashed out even though her castmates are currently shooting for the upcoming season.
“The only reason why she’s not currently shooting is that she is still in active negotiations with her contract,” her representative told ET last week.
Leakes, 51, ended Season 11 (2019) on a sour note with the cast, with Cynthia Bailey, 52, saying that their friendship is “not healthy” and Porsha Williams, 37, blasting her for allegedly sending her fat-shaming texts after she gave birth that referenced incidents on the show.
It is unclear when the negotiations will be completed.
