From posing in string bikinis to using her hands as a bra, Emily Ratajkowski has never been afraid to bare it all for her 23 million-plus Instagram followers; in fact, near-nudity is an integral aspect of both her business ventures and her activism efforts.

But the 28-year-old model’s new collection for Nasty Gal is surprisingly covered-up; highlights from the 55-piece range, which is priced from $28 to $160, include dramatically oversized suits, belted wide-leg pants and gigantic moto jackets.

If it seems like a sharp shift for someone whose signature swimsuit design consists of more string than actual fabric, that’s precisely the point.

“I think that 2019 should be about women doing whatever the f—k they want,” the Instagram star told Nasty Gal in an interview accompanying the line’s launch. “If that means you don’t want to be sexy at all, that’s totally fine. If you want to be sexy in a masc way, if you want to be sexy in a femme way — that’s all up to you and that’s a personal decision.”

Fans of Ratajkowski’s typical sexy style needn’t fret; her collaboration with the retailer does include a few familiarly risqué touches, like a completely see-through mesh dress and a decidedly NSFW cutout crop top.
