Todd Tucker of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ defends taking daughter to strip club

Todd Tucker is not a regular dad.

The husband of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss received backlash online after he posted a video where he took his daughter, Kaela Tucker, to a strip club in London.

“@kpt__ watch out for the bootie! Lol!” Todd, 45, captioned the clip, which shows Kaela sipping on a drink as a stripper dances behind her.

“What in the daddy day care?” one person commented. Another wrote, “This is what you bring your daughter to?? Not cool at all. Yuck.”

Todd explained to TMZ that it’s normal in his family for parents to party with their kids.

“Me and my daughter been to the strip club before — we’ve been to Magic City, ain’t no big deal,” he said. “Me and my mom even went to the strip club before. It’s in our genes.”

Todd added that Kaela is of age and just turned 23.

“They’re going to go anyway, so why not experience it and have fun with your kids,” he added. “That’s what we need to do — we need to spend more time with our kids, even if it’s at the strip club.”

Todd said taking Kaela to a strip club shows her “dad is cool,” so she’s “able to have those good conversations with me.”

He continued, “It’s not a big deal. They’re going to find out from their friends anyway.”

Burruss, who shares a 3-year-old son, Ace, with Todd, has not commented on the outing.
