Luann de Lesseps is writing a tell-all book about her rocky past

You could call it ‘“The Countess Diaries.”

Real Housewives of New York” star Luann de Lesseps is writing a book based on the turbulent past few years of her life, she exclusively told Page Six.

The wife of French entrepreneur and aristocrat Count Alexandre de Lesseps until their 2009 divorce, Luann wed man-about-town Tom D’Agostino Jr. on New Year’s Eve 2017, but they divorced just eight months later.

In December 2017 she was arrested in Palm Beach for disorderly behavior and threatening law enforcement after she locked herself in the wrong room at a hotel with a polo player. This resulted in humiliating apologies, a rehab stint, and, naturally, a touring cabaret show about the whole affair.

She told us at an elegant party to celebrate the Resident Magazine cover featuring her celebrity hair stylist Angelo David Pisacreta at his Madison Avenue salon, “I’ve been keeping a diary of everything that has happened to me. I’ve been sober for eight months, and the therapists urge you to be honest about yourself. But many of the things written about me have been false, so this book is my chance to lay myself bare and also set the record straight.”

She added she does not yet have a publisher for her memoir, but is considering offers.

Others at couture hair king Angelo’s party included Aviva Drescher, Leesa Rowland, Carmen D’Alessio, “Page Six TV” host Elizabeth Wagmeister and Resident Magazine publisher Christopher Pape.
