Wendy Williams spotted out with son after he pleads not guilty in dad assault

Wendy Williams and her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., are going about their business as usual.

The pair were spotted heading to dinner in New York on Thursday evening, just two days after the 18-year-old pleaded not guilty to assaulting his father, Kevin Hunter.

Photos show Williams, 54, in a casual black dress with a zip-up hoodie draped across her shoulders, and Kevin Jr. in a print T-shirt and blue track pants.

Kevin Jr. appeared in a New Jersey court on Tuesday for an arraignment stemming from his May 21 arrest for allegedly fighting with his father outside of a Krauszer’s Food Store in West Orange. Page Six exclusively revealed the brawl began after Kevin Jr. allegedly called his dad “a bitch.”

The arrest occurred amid Williams’ very public divorce from Kevin Sr. following rumors he’d been cheating on Williams with a woman named Sharina Hudson, who gave birth to a baby in March.

However, the family drama has not caused Williams to shy away from the spotlight. The talk show host was easily spotted flying home from Phoenix on Sunday ahead of her son’s court date wearing an attention-grabbing bright pink Modern Mistress ruffle coat.

“Oh my God, that’s Wendy Williams,” one onlooker said to her friend as Williams boarded a Delta flight ahead of all other passengers.

Williams’ son is due back in court on July 9, Page Six previously confirmed.
