Zoë Kravitz wears bridal bike shorts for wedding rehearsal dinner

Zoë Kravitz‘s wedding rehearsal dinner look was as unique as she is.

The “Big Little Lies” star, 30, arrived in Paris on Friday ahead of her nuptials to fiancé Karl Glusman in surprising choice of outfit: bridal bike shorts and a matching bra underneath a white fishnet dress embellished with pearls and fringe.

Glusman wore a simple single-breasted blue suit with brown shoes.

The “Nocturnal Animals” actor, 31, secretly proposed to Kravitz in February 2018, but the laid-back actress didn’t announce the engagement until a Rolling Stone reporter casually asked her about her “Georgian half loop” diamond ring. The couple have been dating since 2016.

Kravitz and Glusman hosted their rehearsal dinner at Lapérouse, a restaurant in Paris’ sixth arrondissement. The bride’s parents Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet were both in attendance, as well as Bonet’s husband Jason Momoa.

Other famous guests included Denzel Washington, Chris Pine and Cara Delevingne, along with Kravitz’s “Big Little Lies” co-stars Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley and Laura Dern. (Nicole Kidman, who dated Lenny Kravitz from 2002 to 2003, didn’t appear to be in attendance.)

The couple’s decision to wed in France might nod to the proposal that never was; Kravitz told Rolling Stone that Glusman originally planned to pop the question in the City of Light, but after that fell through, he lit candles and played Nina Simone for Kravitz in the living room of their apartment while she was wearing sweatpants and “a little drunk.”

Considering her surprisingly casual rehearsal dinner look, perhaps Kravitz will choose high-fashion sweats for the reception as well.
