It’s no “Staten Island Summer” for Pete Davidson, even though that’s where he’s been on the job for June and July.
The 25-year-old “Saturday Night Live” comedian has been repeatedly spotted filming an untitled Judd Apatow project in his hometown.
According to Deadline, the film’s storyline will mirror Davidson’s life and is expected to incorporate his late father, a firefighter who died on 9/11.
The cast and crew have become locals after bouncing around from a private home to a pizzeria and even to the local beach for shoots.
The film, currently dubbed on IMDb as “Untitled Judd Apatow/Pete Davidson Project,” is slated to be released in summer of 2020 and stars Apatow’s daughter Maude, Marisa Tomei, Machine Gun Kelly, Steve Buscemi and Bill Burr.
