Giuliana Rancic, Jason Kennedy not expected to join ‘E! News’ morning show

Giuliana Rancic and Jason Kennedy aren’t expected to move to New York to join E!’s new morning show.

As announced last week, the nightly newsmagazine “E! News” is set to morph into a morning show in 2020, airing at 7 a.m. ET daily, and relocate from Los Angeles to New York City. Though no announcement has been made about Rancic and Kennedy, who currently host the program, multiple sources tell Page Six that neither will move to the Big Apple to host the morning show.

Kennedy and wife Lauren Scruggs sold their Studio City, Calif., home for $2.25 million, the Los Angeles Times reported in March, and have been living in a hotel while they build what we’re told is their “dream home” in LA.

Rancic and her family moved from Chicago back to Los Angeles when she rejoined “E! News” following Maria Menounos’ departure in 2017.

A source close to NBC also told Page Six that the new morning show and all of the network’s news shows announced last week, which include “In the Room” and “BingE! Club,” are in development and the network is exploring all options regarding talent.
