Lauren London honors Nipsey Hussle in birthday tribute

Lauren London is honoring Nipsey Hussle on what would have been the late rapper’s 34th birthday.

“Today We celebrate You my beloved.” London, who shared 2-year-old Kross Asghedom with Hussle, captioned a slideshow on Instagram Thursday. “Today we honor you King.”

The 34-year-old actress encouraged fans to continue Hussle’s legacy, saying, “We are to live in our highest vibrations today because that is how Nip lived his life. We should encourage and inspire today because that is how Hussle lived his life.”

She continued, “Today we should love and give truth because that is how He lived his life. His Purpose still lives on with us all.”

London dated Hussle, whose real name was Ermias Asghedom, from 2013 until his death on March 31 when he was gunned down outside of his Marathon clothing store in Los Angeles.

“Ermias wasn’t a sad soul,” London added on Instagram. “He was a powerful strong magical soul. Today is the day we lift up.”

Less than a month after the rapper’s death, “The Game” star shared her first social media tribute to her longtime boyfriend on April 21 with a simple black-and-white photo of the pair, and the caption, “Missing you.”
