Magic and Cookie Johnson celebrate 60 with 3-day bash

It was a magical three days.

Magic and Cookie Johnson celebrated their joint 60th birthday party with an extravagant 3-day affair surrounded by VIP pals in St. Tropez this week, an insider told Page Six.

The over-the-top bash kicked off on Monday with a welcome party at Nikki Beach for lunch and bottomless La Fete Rosé by the pool.

A-list guests — including Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, Samuel L. Jackson, Spike Lee, Sugar Ray Leonard, Micky Arison, Anthony Anderson, Tina Knowles, EJ Johnson, Elisa Johnson, Star Jones and Isabel Dos Santos — were asked to come in “beach chic swimsuits, casual beachwear, sneakers, shorts, or jeans.”

The starry crowd partied until the evening.

The following night, Magic and Cookie’s crew hit St. Tropez hot spot Le Caves Du Roy Club at Hotel Byblos at around 10 p.m. for late-night cocktails and dancing.

For the final day of the couple’s extravagant birthday events, the Johnsons and company hit Citadelle at around 6 p.m. to party the night away.

Along with many of the same VIP guests from day 1, Angela Bassett, Boris Kodjoe, Cedric The Entertainer and Gayle King joined the festivities.

We hear former NBA star Byron Scott and Magic’s former coach Pat Riley gave “emotional speeches.”

“It really is about family,” Riley said during his toast. “I feel that more than ever when I’m around Earvin and when he puts together these wonderful parties and get-togethers … To be honest with you, I’m humbled to be part of it.”

He also joked, “I can’t believe you guys just turned 40.”

The starry crowd sipped on D’usse cognac cocktails and rosé that “flowed all night” and danced to performances by Chaka Khan and Earth Wind & Fire.

“We danced for six straight hours and no one sat down,” Magic tweeted.

We’re told that at one point the entire crowd sang “Happy Birthday” to the couple.

Magic and Cookie have been married since 1991.
