Foodgod is ready to expand his reach.
Jonathan Cheban has launched his new podcast, “Foodgod: OMFG,” that will give listeners plenty of gossip, though not the Page Six kind.
“There’s gossip. There’s life. There’s everything,” Cheban, 45, told us over the phone on Thursday. “Not Page Six gossip. It’ll be cool s–t, different stuff.”
The “cool s–t” Cheban will discuss extends beyond his food and restaurant knowledge. Celebrity guests, including Dr. Oz, Logan Paul, Fat Jewish and more, will appear, but of course his first guest was best friend Kim Kardashian.
“With Kim it was an open interview with no publicists, no mom [Kris Jenner], nobody was there,” Cheban dished. “It was just us. I don’t think she’s ever done an interview where she’s never been with anybody.”
Cheban said Kim even teased the possibility of a “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” spinoff that would “take Wyoming” now that she and husband Kanye West purchased a $14 million ranch there.
The Kardashian BFF said his podcast would be divided into “20 minutes of random talk, hot places and restaurants and interviews” and will give listeners the inside scoop about how to get into the most exclusive of venues in L.A., Miami, New York and London.
“I have a lot more ins than all those other [recommendation guides],” said Cheban, referring to sites such as The Infatuation. “I don’t have other writers doing it for me. They don’t have the secret ways that I do to do what I do.
“I also find trends and talk about it.”
One such “trend” Cheban discovered is plastic surgeon Dr. Simon Ourian, the doctor behind Kylie Jenner’s lips.
“I discovered him and now he does every face,” Cheban told us. “It’s history from there.”
