Pregnant Eva Amurri Martino reveals she’s having a baby boy
It’s a boy.
Eva Amurri Martino, who is pregnant with her third child with husband Kyle Martino, announced she’s having another boy. Eva, 34, gathered her husband and two children, son Major James, 2, and daughter Marlowe Mae, 5, to pop balloons that ended up releasing blue and gold heart-shaped confetti.
“I’m beyond thrilled, and feel this is the perfect combination for our family. I can’t wait to snuggle another little boyfriend, and I absolutely love that Marlowe is still my only girl,” Eva wrote on her blog. “We love going on special ‘girls’ trips’ together and from the moment I got pregnant I was secretly hoping that those trips could remain just the two of us.
“I also love that Major now gets to be the ‘Big’ to another boy. I can imagine him being such a gentle and caring big brother, and I love that this little man gets to learn from such a sweet soul.”
Eva said she always felt a second boy would “complete” her family.
The couple announced they were expecting another child last week with a surprise announcement after “several months” of waiting. Baby boy Martino is expected to arrive in the spring.
Eva and Kyle married in 2011.
