Jon Hamm ditched seat at Emmys, hung out backstage instead

Jon Hamm ditched his seat at the Emmys after the Hollywood awards show’s opening, Page Six has exclusively learned.

The former “Mad Men” star was seated next to producer Brad Falchuk and his wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, we hear — but spies told Page Six that Hamm was instead hanging out backstage in the Lindt Chocolate Lounge and never returned to his seat.

“There were all different seat fillers next to Brad. Jon finally said, ‘I’m supposed to be there.’ But he never went back,” an Emmy spy told us.

Meanwhile in the same suite, “Empire” actor Terrence Howard was hanging with co-star Taraji P. Henson and he “bowed down to [‘Game of Thrones’ knight] Gwendoline Christie when she came in,” the source said. Henson was heard cheering after “When They See Us” star Jharrel Jerome won his Emmy. Henson was also FaceTiming with fiancé Kelvin Hayden and introducing him to “Black-ish” star Anthony Anderson’s mom, Doris Hancox.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner took photographs and sat at a cocktail table. A source said, “They barely said a word to each other. [‘Game of Thrones’ star] Sophie Turner busted in and told them she loved them and snapped some pics. She then headed to the bar.”
