Jennifer Lopez‘s No. 1 fan, Alex Rodriguez, wasted no time in congratulating his wife-to-be on her upcoming Super Bowl gig.
“So proud and SO EXCITED!” he wrote on Instagram Thursday soon after news broke that Lopez will be taking the stage at the game’s coveted halftime show with Shakira. “Bringing it home! Going to set the #305 on 🔥.”
The Super Bowl will be on Feb. 2, 2020 in Miami, where the former Yankee grew up.
Rodriguez, 44, constantly posts photos in support of his future wife, including the iconic moment where she donned a revamped version of her Versace dress at Milan Fashion Week and every moment leading up to the premiere of her movie, “Hustlers,” which has since garnered Oscar buzz.
Earlier this month, Lopez addressed rumors she would be performing during the halftime show on “Today.”
“It’s something obviously that I would love to do,” Lopez said. “It would be an honor to do and it would be a lot of fun. I feel like more than anything, we would have a ball doing it.”
