Miley Cyrus posted about unconditional love Sunday, about a week after she and Kaitlynn Carter pulled the plug on their month-long romance.
“Happy Sunday from me & 2 stinky dogs!” the 26-year-old crooner wrote on her Instagram Story. “Waking up surrounded by animals is my favorite way to start a morning. I am immediately reminded to LOVE without conditions …. the best part about animals is that they are careless about details.”
She continued, “They live by the golden rule … Love & Be Loved. Nothing in between. No questions regarding wealth, career, talents, race, age, sex…. They love back 100X …. all they ask is to be cared for in exchange for loyalty, reliability and faithfulness. (reminds me of someone).”
Cyrus was first linked to Carter, 31, the former love of “The Hills: New Beginnings” star Brody Jenner, in August. The pair were photographed packing on the PDA in Italy, shortly before news broke that Cyrus and husband Liam Hemsworth had separated.
The singer, who married the “Hunger Games” actor, 29, in December 2018, went on to release the ballad “Slide Away” last month, which appeared to allude to cracks in their relationship, namely Hemsworth’s alleged partying.
Cyrus later denied rumors that she had cheated on Hemsworth during their short-lived union.
“But the truth is, once Liam & I reconciled,I meant it, & I was committed. There are NO secrets to uncover here. I’ve learned from every experience in my life. I’m not perfect, I don’t want to be, it’s boring. I’ve grown up in front of you, but the bottom line is, I HAVE GROWN UP,” Cyrus wrote in a series of tweets.
“I can admit to a lot of things but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating. Liam and I have been together for a decade. I’ve said it before & it remains true, I love Liam and always will,” she continued.
