Ricky Martin will soon be a father of four.
On Saturday, the 47-year-old singer shared that he and husband Jwan Yosef are expecting, announcing the exciting news at the Human Rights Campaign National Dinner in Washington D.C., where he accepted an award for his advocacy for LGBTQ rights and his philanthropic efforts.
“My family’s here,” Martin said. “My husband Jwan, I love you, my beautiful twins, Valentino and Matteo, they’re also here, I love you with all my heart, you’re my strength, you inspire me every day, you motivate me to keep doing what I’m doing and you guys are amazing kids. You guys are amazing. I love you.”
He added, “Lucia, my baby girl, who’s not here with us, she stayed at home with grandma, but she’s also the light of my life. And by the way, I have to announce that we are pregnant. We are waiting.”
As the crowd erupted in cheers, Martin stated, “I love big families.”
In January 2018, Martin revealed he and Yosef, a 35-year-old artist, were married. The couple welcomed daughter Lucia last December.
Martin is also a parent to 11-year-old twin boys.
