Giuliana Rancic speaks out on ‘E! News’ moving to New York

Giuliana Rancic is up in the air about joining “E! News” when it becomes a New York-based morning show in 2020, but told Page Six she will “always” be with the network because of the red carpet.

“We’ll see,” the E! host exclusively told us at The Pink Agenda Gala in New York on Thursday when we asked her whether she’ll be on the morning show.

“I’ll always be with E!. I mean, I have the red carpet.”

She added, “I’ve been there now 20 years, so it’s been a really amazing ride.”

In August, E! announced it will be transforming the evening “E! News” into a morning show format — based in New York instead of Los Angeles — while also keeping current franchises “Daily Pop” and “Nightly Pop.” The cable network is also set to launch at least three other entertainment news programs called “In the Room,” “Pop of the Morning” and “BingE! Club.”

Rancic, 45, first joined “E! News” as a reporter in 2002, and was later promoted to co-host.

In 2015, she began a three-year break from the show, but maintained her red carpet duties for awards shows. She returned to the entertainment news program as a co-anchor in 2018, and currently serves at the main anchor alongside Jason Kennedy.

Page Six exclusively reported this summer that Rancic and Kennedy, 37, were not expected to follow “E! News” to the East Coast. And while the journalist confirmed to us she is not sure about her future with the show, she said she’s “so excited for E!” and the network’s big move.

Brad Goreski, who previously hosted E!’s “Fashion Police” with Rancic and often co-hosts red carpet pre-shows, told us at The Pink Agenda Gala that the move is a “big switch-up,” but he still considers E! a “big force in entertainment” which “owns the red carpet.”
