Giuliana Rancic on creating a clean skincare line throughout her cancer journey

Breast cancer survivor Giuliana Rancic created a skincare line called Fountain of Truth that helps cancer patients maintain a “clean” beauty routine.

“I was 36 when I was diagnosed,” Rancic, now 47, told Page Six at the Pink Agenda Gala in New York last week. “I was a young woman, perfectly healthy, no family history.”

She continued, “[After my diagnosis], I was making a lot of changes to my life, and one of them was what I was putting on my skin and body, so I set out to create a clean skin care line that also works.”

The “E! News” host has been cancer-free for seven years and decided to launch Fountain of Truth in October 2018.

A year later, the company has pledged $100,000 to Breast Cancer Research and FAB-U-WISH, a program that grants wishes to women undergoing breast cancer treatment.

“We’re one of the sponsors of this event,” Rancic told us. “For me, that’s really important. That’s a very big part of our mission and our story and what we do.”

Fountain of Truth is sold at Ulta Beauty stores nationwide and on HSN. It includes over a dozen products, including face serums, moisturizers and face masks, ranging from $28 to $86 each.

Rancic added, “It’s just nice to use something that’s luxurious that works, but is clean and safe. For me, October is a month of excitement, to be quite honest, and an opportunity to use my platform and voice even more to get the word out.”
