Todd Chrisley’s daughter Lindsie denies any involvement in his tax case

Lindsie Chrisley continues to distance herself from her father, Todd Chrisley.

Todd, 50, and his wife, Julie Chrisley, are suing the state of Georgia’s tax investigator, Joshua Waites, and in the lawsuit, they claim Waites developed a rapport with Lindsie to glean information about their financials. The lawsuit included text messages allegedly sent between Lindsie and Waites, seemingly meant to highlight their close relationship.

A rep for the Georgia Department of Revenue’s Office later told Page Six the Chrisleys’ allegations were “unfounded,” but now, Lindsie, 29, is slamming the “Chrisley Knows Best” stars’ claims.

“Despite the fact that Lindsie has nothing to do with Mr. and Mrs. Chrisley’s civil and criminal tax matters,” a statement from Lindsie’s attorney reads, “it seems they have made her the main focus of their attention in order to distract from their own wrongdoing.”

The statement says Lindsie has repeatedly denied any involvement in the tax matter but was “aware somehow” that she would be “dragged back into this unfortunate situation.”

Lindsie, who previously claimed Todd extorted her over a sex tape, also requested he stop his “cyberbullying.”

“If Mr. Chrisley has truly forgiven his daughter and truly loves her as he says,” the statement ended, “then we hope that he will no longer involve her in his litigation, no longer attempt to or actually procure nude photos and videos of her, and no longer threaten her with humiliation and cyberbullying.”
