It’s over for Chrissy Teigen‘s mom and dad.
The model’s father, Ron Teigen Sr., filed for divorce from Chrissy’s mother, Vilailuck “Pepper” Teigen, in Los Angeles on Tuesday, according to People. Ron and Vilailuck are also parents to a daughter named Tina.
Chrissy, 33, revealed last year that her mom was living with her and her husband, John Legend, explaining that her dad lived only 10 minutes away from the house.
“He comes by every day and they’re married,” Chrissy told Us Weekly. “It just works for them. It’s a good family life. We’re all very close, very tight-knit.”
The cause of Ron and Vilailuck’s split remains unclear, but she appeared to have stopped wearing her wedding ring over the summer, based on her Instagram photos.
Ron last appeared on his estranged wife’s account on Christmas in 2017.
A rep for Chrissy didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
Although fans rarely caught glimpses of Ron, Chrissy’s close relationship with her dad couldn’t be questioned, as he proved how dedicated he was to his daughter by getting her face tattooed onto his bicep.
“MY DAD GOT A TATTOO OF ME FOR MY BIRTHDAY,” the “Bring the Funny” star captioned the image of her dad showing off his fresh ink.
Chrissy’s mom has become an Instagram star in her own right.
