Ex-MSNBC journo Mark Halperin’s publisher condemns ‘cancel culture’

Condemning disgraced journo Mark Halperin is “criminal,” according to his publisher.

“In this guilty-until-proven-innocent, cancel culture where everyone is condemned to death or to a lifetime of unemployment based on an accusation that’s 12 years old is criminal,” Judith Regan told us.

Halperin, a former MSNBC analyst, lost his job after women accused him of sexual misconduct and assault in 2017. He’s seeking a comeback with his book “How To Beat Trump.”

Regan hosted a talk with Halperin in LA, but couldn’t say who was there. “It was a private, off-the-record event with major songwriters, big CEOs … A well-known politico asked a lot of questions about the #MeToo stuff. [He] answered to everyone’s satisfaction,” she said. “I don’t approve of what he did … but I always have compassion … He’s tried to become a better person. He had a right to write it, and I have a right to publish it … He really has changed.”

She told us the intro says: “Trump can win again … the Dems better get their act together and focus on Wisconsin.”
