Andy Cohen ‘never could have imagined’ Bravo’s success

Andy Cohen would like to say “Bravo” to his team at the network.

Page Six caught up with the man who launched — seemingly — 1,000 franchises at BravoCon, and asked him if, when he first arrived at the network in 2004, he could have imagined where he’d be 15 years later.

“No, absolutely not,” Cohen says. “Never could have imagined. I signed on to be behind the scenes and I didn’t ever think this would happen.”

Asked how he felt about “single-handedly” changing the face of reality tv and pop culture, Cohen was quick to deflect the praise: “Not single-handedly. I work with an incredible group of people at Bravo — we are like a fine-tuned machine and we all knew our brand, we knew the audience, we knew something good when we saw it, and we just work together terrifically.”

After hearing that he has “many shows in development” for the network, Page Six wanted to know, if Cohen’s baby shower was indeed the Super Bowl, what does that make BravoCon?

“The double-Super Bowl.”

Is that a thing?

“It is now.”
