Pregnant Eva Amurri and husband Kyle Martino split

Eva Amurri and husband Kyle Martino — who have their third child on the way — have split after eight years of marriage.

“Our family is starting down a new path,” the couple shared in a joint statement on social media on Friday. “After a lot of thoughtful consideration, and work on our relationship, we have made the difficult decision to lovingly part ways as a couple.”

Amurri, the 34-year-old daughter of Susan Sarandon and Franco Amurri, and Martino, a 38-year-old former soccer player, are the parents of 5-year-old Marlowe Mae and 3-year-old Major James. The pair are expecting their third child, a baby boy, in the spring.

“We are committed to, and excited about, raising our three beautiful children as close friends and deep partners, and we have the utmost respect for one another. We feel so grateful for the wonderful gifts we have created and received throughout our decade together,” the statement reads. “We have realized over time that the best path to happiness for us as a family is in this different direction, and we look forward to forging ahead in to a new beautiful relationship. We appreciate your support and understanding as we navigate this new transition for our family.”

In 2016, Amurri made headlines when she fired her nanny for wanting to “f–k [her husband’s] brains out.”

She explained on her blog, Happily Eva After, that weeks after firing a nanny for being “untruthful … in a major way,” their new nanny accidentally sent Martino a provocative text that read, “OMG. Girl, did I mention to you how hot and sex my Boss is. I would love to f–k his brains out ha haah. Too bad he seems not to like thick Latin women with lots to hold on to LOL.”

Amurri also claimed Martino found the nanny in their room, snooping through their stuff.
