Former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Jeana Keough would like to see the coveted orange switch hands.
“I still think Bravo should come back and do a show with Briana [Vicki Gunvalson’s daughter] and [her children] Kara and Shane and Colton and show the kids and what they’re doing, because people keep approaching me from different things — like Amazon Prime and stuff — saying, ‘We’re going to do a ‘Housewives’ reunited.’ So it’s fun,” Keough told Page Six on Friday at BravoCon.
She adds that she always had an inkling that the franchise would be successful.
“Right [when the show launched], there was a writer’s strike going on and there was no new TV,” she explained. “So after we filmed NBC actually put us on a couple episodes of network prime time. So that launched us because they had no new material, no new TV shows. I think we had two years before new programming came out and they could have new TV, so we were the hottest, freshest thing out there. So it was a great launch for us. The writer’s strike helped us immensely.”
As for Keough, there may not be as much drama in her life currently, as she finally signed her divorce papers with her ex-husband, Matt Keough.
