At the 2019 AMAs on Sunday, November 24, all eyes will be on Taylor Swift.
Not only will the pop icon be honored as the award show’s Artist of the Decade, but with 23 AMAs under her belt thus far, she’s also just one win away from tying Michael Jackson’s record — and two away from setting her own.
Plus, Swift will be taking the stage for a much-anticipated performance amid her public battle with Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta over her master recordings.
And while an industry insider recently told Page Six to expect a “fierce show of female artistic strength and empowerment” when the 29-year-old steps up to the mic, one thing’s for certain: she’ll be doing so in style.
Below, a look back at the “Lover” hitmaker’s AMAs outfits through the years, from cowboy boots to glittering couture.
2007
On her first-ever American Music Awards red carpet, Swift sported a studded LBD, Western-style boots and her then-signature curls.
2008
The following year, she took home the Female Country Artist award in a shimmering one-shouldered silver mini by Collette Dinnigan, country curls still intact.
2010
The “Speak Now” singer’s shimmering dress from the 2010 event, also by Collette Dinnigan, was definitely worth talking about.
2011
Swift looked like a tall drink of champagne when she took home the Artist of the Year award in this embellished Reem Acra gown, which she styled with bold emerald earrings and a sleek side ponytail.
2012
Clad in a gold long-sleeved Zuhair Murad dress and Jimmy Choo heels, she brought back her bangs the following year.
2013
Swift went for gold once again in this glam Julien Macdonald mini, scooping up four statuettes over the course of the evening.
2014
In keeping with the crop-top-and-skirt sets she lived in throughout her “1989” era, the “Blank Space” star chose this green Michael Kors Collection gown with a sheer midriff cutout — and showed off her new, shorter hair.
2018
Swift made her AMAs return after four years (and took home a quartet of trophies) in this disco-inspired design by Balmain, complete with matching thigh-high boots and Space Age makeup.
