Lizzo hit the red carpet at Sunday night’s 2019 AMAs toting a comically tiny bag by Valentino, joking on Instagram that the purse was “big enough for my f—ks to give.”
Adorned with the luxury fashion label’s logo and roughly the size of an AirPods case, the itty-bitty satchel — a collaboration between Valentino and Obvious Plant — is “one of only three in the world,” the 31-year-old “Truth Hurts” hitmaker revealed during a pre-show interview.
As for what she stowed inside? “I’ve got tampons in there, a flask of tequila, some condoms,” Lizzo laughed while on the carpet.
The petite purse has already spawned its own parody Twitter account, @lizzostinybag, as well as numerous social media memes.
“I can’t believe Lizzo carried my self-esteem on the AMAs red carpet,” one person tweeted, while another chimed in, “Lizzo is carrying my bank account.”
The “Juice” singer isn’t the only star to embrace packing light (make that really light) lately; in September, Rihanna stepped out in NYC carrying a practically microscopic Delvaux purse worth a whopping $1,050.
