“21 Jump Street” star Richard Grieco was arrested at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Thursday for public intoxication, according to TMZ.
Cops were called to Grieco’s gate by an agent who refused to allow him to board the plane. TMZ claims Grieco, who “reeked of booze,” was slurring his speech and yelling at airline employees. He admitted to cops that he’d had two cranberry vodkas before his flight, and was “very unsteady on his feet” during the booking process.
Additionally, per the arrest report, Grieco had prescription Klonopin in his bag, which he told the cops he takes for flying. It’s not recommended to mix any benzodiazepine drug like Klonopin with alcohol: the combination can result in decreased mental and motor function.
Grieco was reportedly put on a Texas to Pennsylvania flight Friday morning after his release.
