Salt-N-Pepa’s longtime tour manager quits over ‘difference in views’

Salt-N-Pepa and their longtime tour manager have parted ways, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

After working with the all-female hip hop group — which consists of Sandra “Pepa” Denton, Cheryl “Salt” James and formerly DJ Spinderella — for years, Tommaso Giuseppe tells us he quit over a “difference in views.”

“I have worked really hard for the brand during my time working with Salt N Pepa …” Giuseppe said in a statement. “At the time of my decision, the team and I had a difference in views and therefore, we have determined it is mutually beneficial that I pursue other projects. I was allowed to relinquish my duties with the group.”

Giuseppe most recently tour-managed the group as well as Naughty by Nature on New Kids on the Block’s 2019 Mixtape Tour.

Giuseppe said the decision came “with a heavy heart,” as he had never traveled outside of New York City prior to touring the with “Shoop” musicians.

“We had a lot of fun and great memories together,” he added. “Regardless of my decision to leave, I will always cherish them.”

We’re told Salt-N-Pepa and Naughty by Nature’s manager, Jimmy Maynes, is having Giuseppe take over as full-time tour manager for Naughty by Nature.

A rep for Salt-N-Pepa didn’t return Page Six’s request for comment.

DJ Spinderella sued the duo over the summer for unpaid royalties. The lawsuit was moved to mediation.
