John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John dress in ‘Grease’ getups

John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John electrified fans by recreating their iconic characters from “Grease” — the first time they dressed as “Sandy and Danny” since the hit movie’s 1978 debut.

The pair made an appearance at a “Meet n’ Grease” sing-along even in West Palm Beach Friday.

Travolta, 65, donned his getup from the final fairground scene — a black T-shirt, leather jacket and rockabilly haircut.

Newton-John, 71, wore an outfit similar to Sandy’s school-girl costume: a yellow cardigan, matching swing skirt and white blouse, according to a photo the actress posted to Instagram showing giddy fans tailing the two as they walk hand-in-hand around the Coral Sky Amphitheater where the event took place.

“First time in costume since we made the movie!” Newton-John wrote.

Later in the evening, Newton-John shed her preppy outfit for a modified version of the greaser look featured in the final scene: black leather leggings and a black leather jacket, People reported.

The actual jacket Newton-John wore in the movie was auctioned off for $243,000 earlier this month – and then returned to the actress by the buyer. The funds will go to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Center in Melbourne, Australia, where the garment will be on display.

The duo will make additional appearances at Meet n’ Grease events in Tampa on Dec. 14 and Jacksonville on Dec. 15.
