Timothée Chalamet always makes a statement on the red carpet.

The “Little Women” actor, 24, stepped out at the 2020 Oscars on Sunday night at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre wearing a dapper coat and pant combination. He piled on the shine with a sparkling brooch and slicked his hair back, accessorizing with a rose gold Rolex watch.

However, not everyone was a fan; many on Twitter compared him to a gas station worker, a car valet or a mechanic. “This is so insulting. I know Timothee Chalamet is not nominated but it is wrong to make him do valet parking,” one person tweeted.

New York Times reporter Vanessa Friedman called him a “Space Force refugee” and said she misses his Louis Vuitton harness from last year’s Golden Globes.

On the red carpet, Timmy excitedly posed for photos with “Bombshell” star Margot Robbie and popped the collar on his coat.

Though Chalamet is not nominated for any awards, he will be presenting on stage. His movie “Little Women” is up for Best Picture against “Parasite,” “Marriage Story,” “The Irishman,” “Jojo Rabbit,” “Joker,” “Ford v Ferrari,” “1917” and “Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood.”

He starred in the Greta Gerwig-directed film alongside Florence Pugh, Laura Dern and Saoirse Ronan.
