Joy-Anna Duggar is pregnant.
The “19 Kids and Counting” star, 22, announced Wednesday that she and husband Austin Forsyth are expecting a baby girl in August.
“Yes… it’s true,” she wrote on Instagram. “[Austin] and I are PREGNANT again! It’s been quite the crazy journey these last few months, but we are so thankful that mom and baby are healthy!”
Austin, 26, and Joy-Anna got hitched in May 2017 and were joined by their first son, Gideon, in 2018. In May 2019, Joy-Anna revealed that she was pregnant again. She then suffered a miscarriage in July.
The couple were expecting a girl, whom they named Annabell Elise. “Although we don’t understand why, God has given us unexplainable peace and comfort during this very difficult time,” Joy-Anna wrote on Instagram at the time. “Yes, it still hurts and we have cried countless tears, but we know that we can trust the Lord.”
In other recent Duggar news, the eldest couple in the family, Jim Bob and Michelle, flipped a Northwest Arkansas mansion — modeled on a Frank Lloyd Wright home in Phoenix — in mid-February to the tune of $1.53 million, after purchasing it in November 2014 for $230,000 and renovating it.
